I watched this film not too long ago. I thought it would be this sweet romantic high-school thing, just a story about a couple who deals with their daily life. BELIVE me I did not except what I have just seen. I felt like crying throughout this entire thing because it constantly reminded me that people are not accepting the LGBTQA+ community and won't anytime soon, too. People still feel like to panicking and hiding themselves for YEARS and make such a big deal out of just revealing what gender they are attracted too, and this is so stupid, and so unnecessary, and so pitiful. This should not be such a dramatic and huge event. If a person loves someone, you should let them do that quietly without getting in the way. But this was just a reminder to how society will always judge people like Simon. That gay people are still not a norm in our world. And I hated that reminder. So overall, I definitely did not enjoy this piece, or anything that it stands for.
