I liked the relationship between Palmer and Niipper, this was good because palmer is the main character and Nipper was of huge significance in the book, nipper was the reason the storyline happened and the reason to the ending as well. I also liked the good descriptive language in the book, this helped to feel the emotions with the characters, and go through all the events in the book with them. I disliked that the book did drag on at some points, as it got a bit boring, I am sure this is only because of my age, therefore I would not recommend this book for younger children, as the theme of shooting pigeons was not very personal to me. Although I did love the book itself despite these things. I disliked the fact that the cover is quite dull, this portraits that the book is quite boring and blank.
