Kho ko is a cliche sports underdog story. This is the most common review i have come across. But I can't remember a pure sports movie made in malayalam. Correct me if I am wrong. It may be nothing new to a movie critic but to an ordinary malayali it is a breath of fresh air. So much importance has been given to the actual sport here . By the end if the movie you are actually smitten by the sport itself. Of course some over the top acting and drama that could have been mellowed down is there but still the feel good effect is undeniable. Next time browsing this through the channels if I come across a kho kho game i will watch it for some time.
