The Blackening is a great, light-hearted (if one can describe a horror flick that way) film about a group of friends are forced to pay for something they did ten juneteenths ago. The story was ham-fisted and funny and also had the requisite jump-scares. It is a more intelligent "Scary Movie" than "Scream". All of the actors did extremely well!
