Wonderful movie Ardh
Some stories need not the rubber stamp standards of dramatization. Ardh is one such story that required to be filmed as it was going live. The movie has beautifully captured the widening gap between life and living of poverty stricken artist. Casting of the movie looks realistic as it represents a settled family having self respect but have lost in the economic compulsions of growing family needs. Beautiful wife, well groomed son and exhausted still cheerful husband shows that the family is gradually shifting into poverty.
Movie depicted the reality of life in Mumbai's Slum and portrayed the struggle of the small theatre artists that has thrown them into poverty and unemployment due to sudden technological changes in the field of performing arts and due to frequently changing business models of the entertainment industry.
The movie throws light on the disguised lifestyle and inspired living of the innocent career aspirants who couldn't understand the economics of their career choices and hence left behind in the mad race of civilization.
The movie is definitely an entertaining masterpiece that smoothly carries audiences into the flow of the theme. Rajpal is excellent and won the hearts. Rubina is brilliant and well played her role. Hiten is so natural and well complementing.
