As always it has taken years for our all Black Units that served in WWII to be recognized for the contributions to the winning of that war. And not only that, but for us as Black Americans to hear about these units. Until this movie I had never heard of The 6888th as it did The Fighting 99th Red Tails. How much of American history that my people have made major contributions and is kept hidden to devalue us as a people. I thank Mr. Tyler Perry for making this movie and bringing these Women’s contributions to light.
