Seeing mixed reviews for the show honestly baffles me. I personally think it’s one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m a huge fan of Dune; I’ve read the books. I’ve watched the movies and I was eagerly excited to see this new series. And it has not disappointed. due to current politics, I was worried the show would be heavily ingrained in modern woke ism, and the message and this show has done a brilliant job, avoiding it like the plague. It shows a phenomenal set of strong female characters that are well written, entertaining, interesting, respectful, and respectable. The show never feels like a man versus woman show and instead immerses itself in the politics of Dune and focuses heavily on expanding the world. The characters are phenomenal, well written and entertaining. The plot is very strong with a lot of plot lines and plot threads going about. I personally enjoy a show with many layers with many plot lines All interacting at once I think that shows not only a brilliant author/director who can maintain so many points at once, but it is also incredibly entertaining and you’re always excited to see what happens next. The acting is absolutely phenomenal and I 100% recommend you give this show a watch.
