This movies round and around feeling is what I am sure the director was trying to portray due to the feeling it must be like to be addicted to such a additive drug. You were able to emotionally feel what the addict felt as well as what the family (parent) felt, constantly trying to change and rescue the addict thinking today’s the day their going to stop using. Just to start the very next day the same way.
