WOW! What a total waste of time reading this book. Only positive thing was that I chose to read this author's book in Spanish. I have read her books before and find her style of writing very easy to read so I said to myself "Hey, why not try this book in Spanish to practice"? Yes, totally easy to read in Spanish considering my first book ever to read in another language. But the actual plot and ending of this novel was HORRIBLE! I was so bummed with the ending and I felt like I was constantly reading someone's diary and journaling the whole time and it got repetitive and boring. Like, I said I am proud to have read it in Spanish that's all it was good for.

This book was 200 too long.... It started off good getting to know the characters and their back story, but then it became so detailed, I ended skimming through the chapters to get to the end and honestly did not even read the end. I ended up googling to see how it ended. I have never done that. I felt bad doing it, but it was just too long. Sad, I really enjoyed her book "Big Little Lies" and the show as well. This book I recommend 100% (Big Little Lies).
