Its sad but, this movie is the first one I wish it never existed. Watching untill the end was a torture, time just didnt pass. Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all time, Im a huge fan. Even though the sequels were not perfect, I enjoyed all of them at some level. But this one is terrible, the worst by far. First, the plot is horrible and lazy. Mutant bugs destroying plantations? Are you kidding me? Who thought this was a good idea? They lost the huge oportunity of showing us how would be a world filled with dinosaurs coexisting with humanity. Many possibilities of horror and thrilling scenes were wasted here because of this choice. But not, take the movie to an facility and solve everything there. If that wasnt already bad, they doubled down on the clone kid plot, which was already terrible by itself, but they made it even worse. Second, script was hideous. Every character became so shallow and every decision is so predictable that they managed to ruin the fact we had all 3 original protagonists in the same movie again. As a fan, seeing these guys together again is almost magical. But the way it was scripted, I wished they weren't there. Another problem is the hand thing Chris Pratt used to do with the raptors seems to work with every dino now. And... he... uses... it... all... the... time. Nothing inserts you into the movie because nothing is trustworthy, you're taken out of the suspension of disbelief the whole time, losing immersion completely Third, they act as if dinosaurs are not cool by themselves. They need to introduce weapons, guns, lasers, etc along with the dinos to make them a threat. People want scenes like the one in the kitchen in JP1, only dinos and good use of neurones to build an awesome horror environment. What they made in this movie is a joke The conclusion is, it seems they thought that just by making everything bigger, with more money spent, more action and infinite easter eggs and nostalgia, they could make a movie barelly acceptable. They were wrong, this movie is utter garbage. Its a monument of money with no heart
