I used English subtitles and Spanish dubbing. There were many discrepancies between the two but that job must be very challenging. I found the story was convincing for the most part, but I found there were too many miles driven!!! Moderns love their cars I suppose. Tuba was great and Engen was very versatile and able to show a wide range of emotion very convincingly for me.. This Turkish movie was educational and very entertaining for me because of the frank and open portrayal of the family life of the urban police within generations. An awareness of the variety of cultural and class patterns and the gorgeous fashion sense of the Turkish women was of value to me. The music was great and used the leitmotif for the characters so well. SHLasker
