On this morning's show Andrew Marr's interviewing technique with Boris Johnson differed markedly with that adopted for his previous guests, Chuka Umunna and Shami Chakrabarti. During both these interviews he remained cordial and dispassionate allowing both interviewees to respond in full without interruption.
When interviewing (or rather haranguing) the Prime Minister Andrew suddenly adopted a far more aggressive and adversarial style as if he was trying to outdo Andrew Neil.
He continually interrupted the PM, did not allow enough time for him to give proper answers, and then began repeatedly chanting inane comments about the Conservatives 10 years in office.
This interrogation technique of talking over your guests and attempting to rile them is not good tv and is very disrespectful, not to mention bad manners.
