Biggest plot holes ever. June is constantly being saved by inconsistencies. She should’ve been killed or maimed over a dozen times already. She screws over everyone in the show and never faces the repercussions of it (handmaidens killed or maimed, letting Lawrence’s wife die, etc) It’d be a cool plot if the main character was worth rooting for and had overcome the adversities of the plot without the inconsistencies. But the writers save her.. Any other handmaid who would run away would lose a foot. Sneaking out to see Hannah? Dead. Talking back? She’d lose her tongue. Get a hand cut off, get killed for getting 86 kids out of Gilead. At this point, aunt Lydia should’ve been turned the hero of the show not this scrub June. And half of the visual of this show is her face.. That’s worth 1 star too. Less if they had 1/4 a star. Why is she winning awards for this? They could have found any blonde dude willing to whine and pout and have face close ups to do this role.
