This series is not your average romance genre. First episode, the man who proposes die in a tragic accident. During the entire 8 episodes, the story-telling unfolds layer by layer, making you want to know more. All 4 leads delivered great performance, especially Saeko, the female lead character. The cinematography is amazing. The story locations are perfectly chosen (Otaru, Hokkaido and Hawaii), reflecting the ups and downs of storyline. As drama goes, some dramatization inevitably happens. However the story flows so well that I was perfectly willing to let go some of the details. If you like an emotionally charged story with rich and deep characters, this is a must see show to indulge in.
