Probably the most fun times ive ever had growing up was playing this Series with my Friends, or just completely Random people Online. I am now in my 20's and it still saddens me that I won't be able to ever revisit my favorite Childhood game again, because they stripped away Online access from us in 2021. Everyone i met on there, Every level i made in the Moon and or Published, Every game i had favorited for later and would play on a regular basis, Just gone and taken away forever. Oh but that boring Storymode that you only played to unlock Customizable and Objects to use in the Moon? Yeah, you can still play that. I'm not sure about new consoles, mainly because it's a port of the original games and it isn't as popular anymore since the closure of the PS3 Servers, and i'm also just not willing to give up my PC Gaming and Spend money on the newest Consoles, Just to be able to replay my favorite Games with barely anyone active on the servers. Just a waste of time, I really wish Media Molecule didn't just give up on the community so easily and sell their product to Sumo Digital, who butchered the 3rd game Compared to the 2nd, And Decided to only keep the game servers up and running for not even half the time that Media Molecule kept the First two installments online for. I guess i can't completely blame them, around this time PS3 stopped allowing creators to properly support and Update their games anymore, and you could no longer post games or products to the Store.. Plus the game servers were being attacked, And seeing they couldn't do a lot about fixing the issue with Updates, they decided to just take it down completely. So big Rip to something that was so dear to me that i will never get to revisit again. Goodbye LBP.
