The movie was fine, I guess, but it was completely predictable and very stale. It had so much potential, but it fell very flat. First, I'm sorry, but Addison Rae cannot act. At least not yet, and I know many people are saying "It was her first job; let's cut her some slack. She did pretty good for her first movie.." and all that, but when I go to watch a movie, I'm not sitting there thinking how new any of the actresses and actors are. None of that determines how good it actually is. I believe she has a lot of potential, but that doesn't change the fact that the movie just wasn't great. I will at least admit that the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ characters being in the movie was great, and the representation of them made it seem normal in the eyes of the public, as it should be. My last critique is on the comedy. It was supposed to be a rom-com, but the only time I laughed was out of second-hand cringe and embarrassment. Seriously, it was not funny, at all. I was laughing for all the wrong reasons. I think you know what I mean.
Overall, the acting was bad, there was decent representation, it was not funny even though it's a rom-com, and the movie was both mediocre and predictable. I wouldn't recommend it.
