I’m a big Marvel fan! Guardians being in my top 2 of all the franchise, which is why it pains me so much to say that this was not a good movie! Around about half way, when it dawned on me the path this story was taking, I felt like getting up and walking out! It left me feeling emotional beyond belief, It was 2H30min of pure torture that will live with me for a very long time! The Guardians brings me joy and happiness, their movies are funny, and although this one has elements where I found myself laughing it was short lived, and rapidly replaced with tears of utter sadness! I’m sorry to say I will not be watching this again. I’m not only leaving this review because of the emotional impact it had on me but because I feel Marvel has let them selves down with composition, story telling and the want for me as the audience to submerse myself in their world!
