Just Plain Jane

This was a tough one...everyone on here has such negative reviews but no one has taken into account the seriousness of the matter at hand. We in our weastern society are not taking the religious and cultural background into consideration here as it is in a foreign country. Yes, he was highly intelligent, he knew how the system worked, he knew what he was up against, he planned it all out and yes he had motive. In some countries, Rape, will get you shunned, no sympathy, humiliation on the family, being unable to marry, and even death. This is what's happening here. There were other family members of his mentioned in the series and even they would have suffered from the backlash. These other people were on the outside trying to look in blacked out windows. You will never know what really happened behind closed doors...yet, it mentions that "they" were not supposed to talk about it to anyone. The classic case of Stockholm syndrome was strong with this family. I had to watch this series very slowly, rewinding back, going word for word, every frame and even then it is my own conclusion. I suggest watching this series as if it had 20 episodes, take your time, write things down...it will all make sense. You can't be lazy with this one. You have to be the detective.
