A long awaited truth about the freedom struggle and its different aspects. So many Patriots not only gave their body, soul and possessions for the motherland but the entire family had to sacrifice without any recognition by the country citizens. Whatever has been narrated and taught in school text books in last 70 years about the credit and reasoning of getting the freedom from britishers is a politically motivated twisted history. Thanks to the internet, all the literature availability revealing the truthful aspects all those unknown and hidden stories of yhe hundreds of revolutionaries, whose fights and sacrifices are responsible for our today's luxurious lives. Swantantryveer Vinayak Damodar Sawarkar was one of the greatest patriots. Its not only he alone but his entire family suffered first by britishers and after the independence by the ruling Congress party. Just to make someone larger than life ( in spite of commiting so many blunders against the majority religious citizens), entirely neglecting the role of thousands of revolutionaries right from 1857 is not thought as a crime in this country. All the political leaders, who claim, they are doing 'deshbhakti', should be sent to the Cellular jail for a brief period of a week to realise the experiences of thousands of freedom fighters. Its a shame, we don't know their names too. Even if, after seeing this movie, people can realise the role of revolutionary freedom fighters and their impact on British rulers, The film maker should be happy for achievement and victory of his efforts. The story, screenplay, casting, photography, editing and direction is done the best possible way, without making it a politically motivated movie. Its the most challenging to portray Veer Sawarkar's life in 3 hours as there are so many events, aspects related to his sacrifices, his rational thoughts about Hinduism, Country and social reforms. Thanks for making it and making it so well.
