The movie was ok. Decent story line and acting from main characters with the exception of Ariana DeBose as Calypso. She was very stiff and she seemed to be reading aloud, no emotion from her performance. The others were good enough, but they will have to do more if they are planning on any kind of a franchise vehicle for Kraven.

Her dad’s cave has a camera but none of the bad guys have cameras? Also she’s supposed an elite special ops type and she smokes weed with her high school buddy? Quickest way I’ve ever seen to lose your clearance. Also puts her judgement in serious question. Just not very believable, kind of over the 120 lbs female beating down a 200 plus pound special ops man, unless she has some super powers or bionic enhancement we don’t know about. A mediocre movie with a mediocre plot and mediocre acting.

The plot and even some of the camera shots are the same as the “Alien/Aliens” before. Get some new material. The effects were good.
