Great stories & touches on terrible history told in a way that can reach a wide audience. The mammoth mistakes at Maralinga were not taught at school. I only have vague childhood memories of a few news headlines in 1980s news. Warning: don't expect a documentary! Instead it is entertaining satire with multiple story threads. This series was able to tell some appalling truths & highlight some impacts on characters. Lots of good acting, including support cast Cranky & Ruby! I hope it encourages viewers to look up back stories of actor activist playing Cranky & history of the real Operation Buffalo. They really did nuclear explosions hurting locals/soldiers without protection, cause permanent damage, the radioactive plumes did extend accross Australia. Awesome Aussie satire.
