I’m 67 and grew up in this musical era. This is the most imaginative album ever made. It progressed into the commercial Pink Floyd you hear in Dark Side of the Moon. All beautiful and amazing. I read someone said the studio tracks sucked. BS. They shine with individualism. To this day I think of Sisyphus (Nick Wright ) when I’m going through a hard time or Grand Chester Meadows ( Roger Waters) when I’m having an early morning coffee like I am now. Nick Mason has never been better and David Gilmore is amazing. You can hear the early influences of such masterpieces as echos. It’s all great stuff and every one of their early albums is really fantastic. This was an era before lawyers formulated music and creativity ruled. Producing amazing bands such as Hendrix, Cream, Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd. Close your eyes and let your mind flow....
