I don't know if it was because I was young or maybe they were just different, but when I look at these women, I no longer see the cool sexy single ladies, I see these completely disconnected vapid rich fools that kinda make me feel rage. This show is like a long Thanksgiving dinner with your kinda racist family that you're introducing your black lesbian fiance to for the first time. They keep making these weird references or comments about the straight white experience. Then they're like, "look, I have a nonbinary friend! Look, I also have black friends!" The entire show is based on the assumption that the general public is as ignorant as these wealthy priveledged elderly women. I can't relate. I will never be these women, nor have I ever met them. It's just too far from the viewers to make sense.

People aren't rating this on what it is. It is a light hearted and fun series where we get to see loveable characters finding themselves. PLUS, we get Kim Cattrall. The Kim we've been missing. She's bold, strong and sexy. She allowed herself to age gracefully and gives us all the things missing from what our old sex and the city characters are lacking. The show is not meant to be brilliant, it's meant to give us a fun and warm reprieve. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. I love all the characters, and I can't wait for the next season. Yes to this show! It will make you smile and feel less stressed.
