Not one of her better books
The history of the civil war and the effects of colonisation and women's lives and the context of both was certainly demonstrated by the characters and the unpredictability of their lives
The history of the Quakers in both UK and USA was interesting also
Not sorry to have read it..but the writing was not very inspiring
