I was excited for the movie but it was too slow, my kids were even falling asleep. There’s a lot of comments on here about the lesbian couple scene. That didn’t bother me too much but I also heard an audible “uhg” from most in the theater. I understand wanting to make the movies like real life but for most people we only see that and think at this point, “of course🙄.” It’s sad in all honesty because they make it point to put it in the movie in order to check a box but can’t bother actually integrating the characters into a meaningful roll. They only did it so they can say they did it. The other problem I had with the film was the bleeped out cursing. This is a kids movie and yet they’re willing to sacrifice the integrity of every child who attends the film in order to hopefully provide adults with some entertainment. This movie was sadly developed for a particular audience and not the other. I really don’t see it making a ton of money.
