This is a satire folks. Many people are missing the point and getting upset by it. Some people are calling out things as "mistakes" like different quotes on the tombstone when they were intentional. The vitriol in some of these reviews is self-fulfilling entertainment. Andy Kaufman would laugh at this movie, on the inside. That being said, Kristin Bell is so good in this that there are genuinely good sequences that seem ruined by the satire - 10-20 minute stretches where you forget this is a satire and genuinely care about what happens to her. I hope to see her act in a non-satirical suspense or drama soon. In the end, I think this created a different type of satire - it wasn't silly enough to be a parody (a few times I was waiting for them to look directly at the camera and break the scene) but it wasn't serious enough that I'd call it a dark comedy either. It was unique, but I wouldn't watch another season.
