I had expectations. That was my bad. This is 90% of the world building the other books lacked. I wish it had stay a trilogy as planned. I was worried after the first interview I saw where she talked about that. You can't make that big of a shift when half way done writing book 2.

Such a satisfying shift into the next arc. There are enough loose ends to keep me wondering but the story for this half feels resolved. I'm curious about how much will come up in Ghostbloods.
