It's all been done before. They even resurrected Ian Holm as a bad guy synthetic. Recycled plot. Recycled hybrid monsters (Alien 4). An attempt at creating a new Ripley. A movie full of disposable characters and packed full of lazy written cliche from the original films. Even including " get away from her you bitch!" Which really should have been delivered by the Trans drag queen synthetic human named splendiferous. A waste of 2 hours when I had hoped for a great film, as a big franchise fan. It makes me wonder where they get the money and whether they are proud of the crapfest offered up to the public.

Watch snails in the garden for an hour and a half. You'll enjoy it far more. I am a huge fan of the franchise. I was hugely disappointed at the 2006 remake which had no teeth or charisma at all. Even though it was a scene for scene remake. I can find nothing good to say about this film. Overly elaborate, art house claptrap that has more in common with high end TV car adverts than the Omen horror franchise. Like the 2006 remake this dross would be resigned to the 50p bargain bin at the supermarket. If it still existed.
