I thought the show was terrible. felt like it was every trendy YA fantasy magic trope smooshed into a half hazard storyline that seemed pretty predictable. very derivative and unoriginal. jack of all trades but master of none storytelling. soooooo many plot holes. flat characters with unbelievably shallow personalities, even in this insta day and age. main male character seemed so stoic and disconnected that it took me out of the world and his reactions, or lack of, was just bad acting. deffinetly felt the show was geared towards a younger more forgiving audience.
