Kalki, the much-awaited Messiah in Hinduism, is now the talk of the town, thanks to the newly released magnum opus ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The epic sci-fi fantasy, featuring Telugu superstar Prabhas, Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, and Tamil veteran Kamal Haasan hit the big screens on Thursday. Despite being set in the future, during a dystopic era, almost all the major characters in the Nag Ashwin directorial can be traced to Hindu scriptures. Ashwin didn’t drop any hints on the identity of the prophesied Kalki in the trailer. Fans are now speculating whether the movie will show the arrival of the foretold Messiah.👍
