The great gatsby, as Nick added "the great" to the heading of his novel i couldn't agree more. Yes, even after he was the one who lost everything at the end he earned the title The great. In most movies men are depicted as shallow in terms of emotions. Even I don't know any men who express emotions as Gatsby in my life. Every now and then I could see Peter Parker in Carraway but I never saw anyone but Gatsby in Decaprio. Even his smile in the introduction was new to me as if I haven't seen this actor before. How can he act like that? I'm not here to praise him. Everyone has already done that. I just want everyone to act like him. I want to cherish characters like Gatsby in my mind forever.The mystery revolving around him which drags us to him later reveals his utter vulnerability over a women, his love. Gatspy had a goal, a vision about his future. He was a very hopeful man. But his future revolved around wrong thing, Daisy. She depicts the most shallow useless women.one should never keep a human a goal. Human are the most confused creatures with a mind of their own. The movie is a mystery for me even now. The more I think about the more I'm confused. But It makes me want to be more careful about people I trust and a need to make at least one great friend like Nick.

It plays with mind. The music keeps us in edge. It warns us loudly.throught out the movie until the end we are kept at edge fearing of something which was not real. It's an experience. Incredible work.

Its a feel good movie. Beautiful charming actors to watch. Not much of a storyline. Its one of those movies which u can watch by lying down in bed. Nothing will make u want to situp.u know that things are going to be good at the end. I like the idea of placing a not so feminine type of character as the lead.but nowadays most of indian movies revolve around such women. Free and independent. There is not much to critisise, not much to praise, nothing to remember same as the name which is also easy to forget.

This movie is an exact representation of a extremely anxious individual who suffer from panic attack. As an individual who had suffered from panic attacks in my past i could connect very well with his thoughts. Its such a confusing, helpless situation. Even our loved once wont understand the severity of it. His lover is pointing out that his disease is madeup. Panic attacks are so debilitating, its very very scary more scarier than death itself. The path he went represents his only way of surviving ie god. The belief that something is there to protect us will make us feel better. I saw a few asking why his smile turned into uneasiness in the end. That shows that he is still suffering from the disease. He is still not sure about the decision of becoming a pastor.
