Those who grew up with James Cameron's 2009 film Avatar will undoubtedly enjoy this one. As a follow-up, it mostly succeeds by giving the characters more emotional weight, raising the stakes in the struggle between man and nature, and, of course, providing breathtaking water effects. As a result, some of the cast members, such returning stars Sam Worthington and Stephen Lang, stood out throughout the entire film, especially Britain Dalton. Given that it took over 13 years to complete, it is clear that this was Cameron's passion project. The identical formula from the original may have been used, but for me, the experience of seeing the movie is what mattered most. I'm happy it was published.
