Loved it! Grew up with the original and can say I loved this one just as much. I thought Halle did great as Ariel, and loved how they fleshed out Eric more in this movie. They bonded over their wanting to learn more about the world and that was a great change.
The cgi can be weird at points but nothing too distracting IMO, the animators did their best with Disney’s deadlines.
Overall, loved it! Great movie.
