Not as good as Michael Fassbender version, not even close!

I am very confused by the praise this particular version gets. It's completely inaccurate to the novel, not to mention they add scenes that were completely unnecessary and rediculous that were not in the book either. Also the acting is painfully terrible, even by 1938 standards. I would recommend alot more either the 1951 or 1984 versions over this one.

Absolutely awesome! I was pretty much laughing throughout the whole thing! It doesn't at all try to impersonate the original, it stands on its own just fine! Can't wait to watch it again whenever that will be! Liam Neeson really out did himself for sure. I hope they make a sequel for this with him!

Criminally underrated. Every single thing about this particular movie is so compelling, from the score, to the cinematography, the acting, the stillness, the atmosphere.....it's really hard to come across a movie like this. Every time I watch it, I'm always in total awe of it.

Such an amazing well made movie. This way is perfect to introduce anybody to Star Wars. Like the original, there is no requirement to see any of the other sw films before this one. The technology and effects really held up well and much better compared to today's CGI films.

For me this is the best Star Wars movie of every film. Not only is it my favorite Star Wars movie but also my all time favorite movie. The way this movie was made feels so unique for me. It had a compellingness that was never in the other sw films.

I hated this movie! This is not how you make a movie at all. This movie is an abomination. The mother ruined this movie for and I now hate the actress who played her. I will never understand one person who thinks this is a good movie. I can think of 100 different movies that are way better than this piece of crap I wish this movie would be erased from history!!!!!

A movie that knows how to spell the word perfection in all capital letters! Directors make sure you learn from this movie!

This movie is crap. Anyone else thinks this is a good movie has no knowledge on what a GOOD movie is! Bad guys have too much control! Whoever made this movie and wrote this movie obviously doesn't know how to make a good movie at all! Truly an embarrassment to motion picture quality and I'm embarrassed by the existence of this movie!

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this piece of crap at all costs!
