Jane Brown

The series began with a bang. First two episodes were fun entertaining, and a light distraction from the stressors of the world. Unfortunately the nosedive the 3rd episode took, made me lose my appetite for more. It was inane and poorly written although the actors did as well as possible with the horrific writing and stupidity of the story. Characters were all caricatures — Maybe I’ll give it one more try, but I’ll probably be watching alone since my husband was completely turned off.

I found the movie shockingly bad, in spite of the good acting. The story felt contrived, and the direction was weak. It was among the worst films I’ve seen in a long time.

This is a shockingly bad movie about an important topic. The actor who plays Lenny is outstanding, but Mulligan is terribly dull and most scenes are just not cinematic. This movie is hardly watchable.
