OMG... Just finished watching and I think I actually might have burst a blood vessel. Words cannot describe how bad it is. It's honestly an insult to 1 star films to give it a 1 star rating. I seriously thought there would be some sort of saving grace as I delved deeper into it. Nope. I'm stunned at how they got this so wrong. The characters are awful- so far off the personalities that were so wonderfully developed in the books.The storyline is all over the place, and it looks like it was patched together at the last minute. The script was wooden and just terrible, and as to the directing.. My biggest question is why did they get this so wrong? I am actually mourning. This film is a perfect example of how to butcher a great original story. Why people think they need to change things is beyond me. The audience for this movie were the people who read the books. It's a slap in the face to those that did and have waited so long for the film. Urgh.. I'm so mad.
