I absolutely love the original and was disappointed with the new The Color Purple. The film did not highlight most of the iconic moments from the original. After about an hour into the movie I was ready to go. This film appeased to a different audience than the original.

This movie is a waste of time... it's as if they put two movies into one and neither were good!
