I’ve followed Darren’s music for a long time and built a sort of chronology in my head about the events and themes that he puts in to his music. It was great to hear the full story in order. I say great, but it’s also a hard listen. Anyone who’s heard his music and felt stricken in a personal way by them should read this. It’s also a great trip down memory lane for the fans. How he triumphs and carries on despite the sadness around him is nothing short of inspiring. I struggle to articulate the profound affect Darren’s music and story has on me, so I guess I’ll just say thanks for the therapy session.

Unlovable: A Memoir from the Voice of Savage Garden

Feels closer to older FF titles than anything has in a while. People criticising the game for not being open world need to realise not ever game needs to be a cookie cutter Skyrim copy. So bored of that style of game. FF16 brings the franchise back to being heavily story driven and creates an entourage of characters we genuinely care about. Gameplay is a little easy and very cut scene heavy for the first few hours, but it evens out well after that. Would benefit from some mini games and super bosses, but it's a ton of fun to play.
