Overvictimized female lead. The female lead is SAed by every guy she encounters. If it's not SA, then they want to pursue her romantically—poor story writing and repetition. Yes, SA is a real and serious issue. Still, when a drama constantly throws it in as a plot device just to victimize the female lead, it stops being meaningful and turns into trauma exploitation. The whole "every guy is obsessed with her—either creepily or romantically" thing gets old fast. Like, we get it, she's pretty, but can she just exist without constantly being in danger or doubting herself? It’s frustrating because there are so many other ways to build tension and challenge a character without resorting to the same distressing scenario over and over. It takes away from the actual plot and can feel like unnecessary trauma bait rather than genuine character development. Plus she ends up leaving the male lead again because she "doesn't deserve him" and that speaks for itself. Instead of focusing on her healing, the first 10 episodes continue to show her in distress.
