Dr. Oz my name is Dr. Donna And I am a toxicologist by profession. Your recent Alzheimer’s overview hit my heart. My mother currently at near 90 years old has had memory loss for over five years which concerned us tremendously. I came across a video on an article about the use of coconut oil for memory recovery. I started to give my mother 1 tsp coconut oil for 21 days. Some of my family members were skeptical about giving her this coconut oil and did not believe it will work. My mom started to talk back to the nurse and assistance, 1 day. Prior to that recovery she did not speak so the nurses were totally shocked that she remembered her name and called out to them. My family could not believe that the coconut oil worked. The loss of body weight and body fat as you mentioned might have contributed to memory loss and therefore the oral administration of coconut oil which has high cholesterol might have triggered her brain to start speaking. This was an amazing recovery for us and I’m not saying that it works in all situation but it’s worth a try!
