started reading this novel in May and almost four months since, i am still plodding thro. being myself a writer (in TELUGU, my mother tongue), i find the style atrocious. its so confusing you dont understand what you are reading or who you are reading about. everyone is referred to as 'he'. i have a habit of not leaving a book midway, how so ever bad it is, and thats what is forcing me to trudge on! after three and a half months, and finishing reading two other novels in the mean time, i am still in page 547. .
