Played the previous AC, especially the more recent ones. One of the main draws of the game is historical accuracy and the efforts put into the game to make it feel authentic. Victorian England, Ancient Greece etc all excellent, except for shadows. The game play is decent, graphics are good, but certain elements of the game just ruin the experience for me and is a huge let down. Out of origins, odyssey, Valhalla and even mirage, this is the worst AC imo. Each had its flaws such as Valhalla feeling bloated but the blatant disregard of particular aspects of shadows is unforgivable.
