I think it's quite fun. Honestly I couldn't care less whether Sith Lords are 'supposed' to be confined to such and such period of fabricated history, because I'm not a massive nerd and presumably nor is most of the audience watching this show. Most people who want to watch it will quite like Star Wars and like a good story, and imo the series delivers on this!
