I hated every minute of the movie. I know critics think that Adam Sandler was great in his role, but that doesn't mean that the movie is likeable or something that I would ever want to see again.

Good, small movie with many twists and turns and an almost all male cast.

I did not like the animated dog. The dog was over the top in that they made it too human. It was very annoying to watch. I loved the book and this movie did not do it justice. However, I will also say that a lot of the book would not translate well to a movie, but a real dog would have been closer to the book than the animated one in the movie.
