So i think they should make anything as woke as they want, but have the intellect to make a new story - don't mess with our childhood memories. Force the Jayden / Zegler / insert more kids that cant act. Call it Off-White and the seven pronouns for all we care. If i took something you enjoyed about your childhood and made a copy that was so bad it got more attention than it deserved, added the worst production of CGI since SharkNado, or got the crux of the story so wrong you casted an uglier young actress to stand next to Gal. I'm sorry it's a failure on so many levels there should be more than one department fired for this...
