The logic behind this show is good or the concept rather but the language is horrible. Out of men that I’ve been around, my father, uncles, & male counterparts… no one talk like this one a regular basis… especially highly educated men, regardless of where they came from. And mom… I’m not even going to go there! I thought this show was going to play black men in a positive light! Can we remove at least SOME of the stereotypes please! We can have an amazing show as black people without horrible language, stereotypes, explicitly… if anyone can do it… it’s TP! Seeing mom in that light…. I don’t know about that! She’s such an amazing singer and actress… this role lower her potential even if it’s something she wanted to do! Can we see a nice successful men’s circle?! A real friend circle, black men who can learn and lean on each other! Let’s pull from other writers, gather a team, put our heads together, discuss some ideas, collaborate… revisit this because this ain’t it!
