This book was everything you could ever want in a book! I has love, humor, sex, heartbreak, loss, death, loneliness. When I was first recommended this book by my best friend, I had mixed feelings about it, because I know she loves romance books, and when I noticed that was the genre of this book I did not except to like it what so ever, because romance books have never been my thing. Then I read Ugly Love, and boy.... was I wrong about that! The way Colleen Hoover made you feel every aspect of what Tate and Miles and Rachel go through in this book. The young love between Miles and Rachel, the anxiety from their situation, and the heartbreak you feel for them. Then you see the fun and excitement that ignites between Tate and Miles after a very unusual way to meet for the first time. She also made me feel the conflict ion that poor Tate felt every time she feel deeper and deeper in love with Miles, even though she knew she was not suppose to. I love that this book, like most great books, had a phenomenal happy ending that was exactly what I needed to love this book even more!

I definitely did not see the ending coming! When I thought I had figured out the ending, BA Paris did what she does best and went a completely unexpected route than anticipated! Only reason I gave this book a 4 star rating instead of 5, was because once I found out the truth I found it to be a little unbelievable despite all the rest of the story being very believable. 9/10 would recommend this book to thriller and suspense lovers!

I have to admit, I was highly surprise, and extremely satisfied with this book! I honestly did not think I would I enjoy this book, but that is my own fault. I watched the movie before reading the book, and I have to say, as always, the movie did not do the book any justice what so ever!! I loved the story line, plot, and characters so much in this book. I felt like I was always on the edge of my seat, trying to help Jacob figure out each obstacle he came across. I loved how the author used antique photos to help with the narrative of his story. If there was anything that I did not like about the book, it would just be that sometimes I found myself thinking that the chapters were too long. I would have liked for there to be more, shorter chapters, because I think it might have just made the book easier to read. Another thing I believe is that it definitely should not be considered a children's book due to the amount of curse words include in the reading. Once again, this is just my personal opinion, it did not bother me, and I thought they were used properly and fit it perfectly with the story, however, it is probably not a book I would allow my children to read until that had reached the age to understand their dynamic behind their use. I would give this book an 8/10 recommendation, and can honestly say I am excited to see what the rest of the series has to hold!

This book is an amazing read! It shines a TRUE light on what most children really do go through in the foster care system, but this woman's story also shows how that even the children faced with the worst of circumstances can over come the unthinkable and persevere

I thought this was going to be one of those books tat is someone's account of going to heaven and back, and what they experienced while there... I was wrong! It is one of the best books I have ever read! I found myself feeling every emotion with Eddie. I wanted so badly to understand his situation and what was going to happen to him next. This book touched me so deep that after reading this book I was sobbing!! And I don't mean a few tears, I was uncontrollably sobbing! This book touched a very special place in my heart, because the day I finished this book was the same day as my Pawpaw Leonard's birthday. Eddie just reminded me so much of my Pawpaw, that I felt like I was reading a first hand account of someone I loved and held so dear to me. As soon as I finished this book, and could get my emotions under control, I called my best friend that recommended this book and just kept thanking her! This book now has me wondering what five people I would meet in heaven, and who I would be in line to help to transition. . . . WARNING!! The ending of this book will absolutely shatter your heart and then put it all back together in just 5 pages!!

So I had read this book once before, back when I was a freshman in high school we read it as a class. Now if you are anything like me, anytime I was forced to read something in school, I never enjoyed it! However, this book did stick out to me, and when I saw it on this months #bookbattle recommended reads for one of the topics this month I thought I would give it another try. Boy! Am I glad I did! I found this book very enjoyable and easy to read. Is it one of my top favorites? No. However I would love to read the rest of the series, mostly for the simple fact I have to know what happens! I need to know what happens to Jonas and Gaberial! So I do believe the rest of this series will be read in my near future

Ok, so I am not going to lie, when I first started reading this book I absolutely hated it!! I thought it was weirdly written, made no sense, and I just could not get into, but I thought that I am going to stick with this book! It has to get better! And then, out of no where I get hit full force with all the excitement at once! I kind of started to get an idea that Gat, Johnny, and Miren were dead around the time they first kept asking Cady if she remembered anything else, and it became a definite thing when they did not want her to jump in the same water that Johnny and Gat did at the other end of the island. Once it got toward the end of the book, I thought that it was okay, but it is not one of my favorite books. Which honestly, makes me feel extremely indifferent in some ways, because everything I had heard about this book was very good, and I feel kind of let down based off all the hype it got. I am in no means saying that it was awful, I thought it had a great thought process behind it, and I do believe that if it was turned into a movie that it would be a great one. I think it would put me in mind of the movie Shutter Island. Do not let this review stop you from reading this book, because this is just my opinion, and it could just be that this type of reading was not for me.

This book is everything you could want! It is packed full of action, modernized telling of Greek Mythology, love, heartbreak, sadness, anger, jealously, etc. The way that Alexandra Bracken describes and gives so much detail into her work and portrays the Greek Mythology in an incredible way! She has this amazing way of presenting a extremely complex plot, and had so many stunning plot twists every time they turned a corner! Now grants, there is a lot to grasp right off the bat, and there is a lot you have to remember when it come to the Gods, new Gods and there names and what bloodline they belong to. However, the further you go on in the book the more it just becomes apart of your common knowledge while reading. Now there is some explicit words and scenes in this book that can make some very uncomfortable, however it was nothing I had not seen before. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone I can tell, and I would most definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys Greek Mythology!

This was a pretty great book! It had everything from love to betrayal, jealously, infidelity, women helping women, and more than anything... REVENGE!! The common ground all the women in this book share is that all their husbands or significant others were unfaithful in some way or another. Now I am not normally one to enjoy story-lines that jump from two different points of view, let along changing point of views while also changing two different time periods!! However, Sarah Penner did a wonderful job at making all these aspects run together smoothly and so easy to read. The plot and characters were wonderfully thought out and depicted. There was a few things I found repetitive or predictable at times, but nothing that would stop me from recommending this novel. The ending definitely had me going back and forth about what actually happened to Little Miss Eliza, but that is one thing I will leave out so that you have the excitement of finding out yourself once you read this wonderful novel!!

Oh. my. goodness!! This has to be the most adorable YA rom-com ever!!! This book has everything from grilled cheese and burgers to an enemy-lovers concept. I love how the author was able to give us a story with so many relatable attributes (i.e. family pressure, twitter/social media impact, high school endeavors, etc.) and combine them all into this big mixing bowl to produce a story every bit as good as I imagine Monster Cake must taste!! I would definitely recommend this book to my friends, especially anyone wanting to get you started with the YA and rom-com genre!!
