Hilarious 😂 Olivia Coleman doesn't do rubbish. Jessie Buckley is outrageous. Timothy Spall is brilliant. If you're looking for a dry documentary on this quirky post WWI episode then this might not be the film for you. If you're looking for a well told, entertaining story, that draws on history rather than recreates it, then you can't go wrong. Very, very funny 🤣

I've watched so many of my favourite comic titles be absolutely trashed by TV and film. Really pleased that hasn't been the case here. The Netflix version of the Sandman works really well and delivers an excellent rendition of the dreaming.
