This is truly one of the worst written books I have ever read. Besides being poorly crafted, the plot is contrived and has a sloppy ending which is meant to be the “clever twist”. The “erotic” scenes read like third rate porn. I cannot think of one positive thing to say about Verity. If I was not reading it for my Book Club, I would have dropped it like a hot potato after the first few chapters. Do yourself a favor and take a hard pass!
