This movie doesn't deserve all the hate, they took a lot of old 2000s movies and TV movie styles and threw it into this movie. The pacing was a little off and I wish the villian had been a more intimidating actor, but all in all its a fun adaptation, that if we get a sequel for it would open a awesome new Spider movie themed world. The opening is all explained later in the film, weird choices were made. The actors and actresses did the best they could do with this script. I hope we can get more with a better writing team backing it. Sony had so much potential if they open the doors to fans of the Spider-man/Spider-women comics to join their team and write movies for them
